Description
Grade S Shackle (Dee and Bow Type, Blue Screw Pin)
- Most commonly used for lifting, connections to chain, wire rope and other rated fittings in the agriculture, marine, engineering and mining industries.
- Conforms to AS2741 manufactured from Grade S material in dee & bow configuration.
- Screw pin hot dipped galvanised.
- Marked with WLL in tonnes, quality grade, batch numbered.
- Proof tested to 2x Working Load Limit, with a minimum break force of 6x Working Load Limit.
- Suitable for lifting applications.
When used at high temperatures, apply the following derating in applications higher than 200 degrees Celsius:
- If used between 200°C – 300°C then a 10% derate is needed
- If used between 300°C – 400° then a 25% derate is needed
- About 400 °C neither shackle can be used.
